The benefits: Three delivery attempts. When sending the package, GLS will notify the recipient by e-mail (with tracking number) that the package will be delivered the next working day. On the morning of the day of delivery, the recipient will be notified of the courier and GLS Customer Service phone numbers and a 3-hour time frame of expected delivery. If the delivery attempt fails, an email notification will be sent to the recipient. Through the link provided in the email, a delivery order can be registered. The recipient can:
- request a redelivery
- change delivery address
- request delivery to a parcel shop
- or refuse to accept the package
